Tim Minear's new deal with Fox TV

The news for yesterday was of course that Tim Minear has signed a new 2-year deal with 20th Century Fox TV. In an article for The Hollywood Reporter, Nellie Andreeva reports that Tim will not only be working on existing Fox series but this deal will also be for the development of new projects for the studio. Fox TV chairman, Gary Newman is quoted as saying, "Tim is very versatile; he can go to any show and make it better. We truly believe that there is a hit show in him, and we weren't prepared to let him go and do it somewhere else."

We at Sending A Wave manor echo Mr Newman's sentiments and just hope that next time Fox execs aren't eager to pull the plug on the next Tim creation after 3 episodes.
