Sending a Wave show 16 is now available. In this show we talk about the Serenity 4 convention, talk once again to Vanessa Lauberg about her charity event to raise money for the Fringe Theatre, Edmonton (where Nathan launched his acting career), and finally pay tribute to Joe Murphy, part of the Farpoint Media family, who died at the start of the month. Also, Mike has left his presenting duties on Sending a Wave to concentrate on other projects for Futility Radio, the primary one being our tasteless satirical adult sketch show, Futility Writ Big, which (like Sending a Wave) was recorded this weekend. Well, we here at Futility Radio had a productive weekend! On Friday we recorded the next two shows for Sending a Wave (the first of which will be on the feed and available to download in the next couple of days.) We had Nick from The Signal in studio with us, as well as Paul Greaves from our forthcoming project Cadmium 2.
Then on Sunday we recorded the first show of the new series of Futility Writ Big, an adult comedy sketch show. Actually, Mike and Andrew have recorded several of these before but this is the first show that will be done as a podcast.
