Voicemail line now available!

Due to feedback from several people about there not being an actual phone line for the voicemail, we have now rectified that!

The new voicemail number is +(44)7921 350340 or 07921 350340 for UK listeners. We welcome thoughts and feelings about the show or any events in the Browncoat Universe!

I look forward to your feedback!

Memorabilia, NEC, Birmingham, this weekend

Hi y'all,

hope you're enjoying the show. I'm posting this to remind everyone about Memorabilia, this event is being held at the NEC, Birmingham, in the UK on the 25th & 26th November this year.

If you've been listening to the show you'll have heard the interview with Karl Derrick the owner of a large collection of Firefly props, many of which were photographed for the Official Firefly Companion book, Karl will be at Memorabilia with the entire collection. This is going to be the first time the whole collection has been shown all together, some items have been seen before but never the whole collection.

So please go along and support Karl. Our very own Wendy Scott will be there, so go along and say hi to her, and if she shoves a microphone in your face remember we like hearing from you, our listeners.

For more information on the event please visit: www.memorabilia.co.uk

Stay shiny.

Show 8: an apology to Harry Potter fans

Hi

Ah, show 8 is now available for your listening pleasure. Have to make an admission and an apology. During the course of our interview with Karl, we talk about his work on the "Harry Potter" films and I make a reference to the producer, Nick Heyman. I'm wrong, and it was a case of my mouth running way ahead of my brain, as the producer is of course David Heyman. Sorry.

Wendy

Episode 8 now available

So in this show we've got the rest of our interview with Karl Derrick, where Wendy talks with him about his collection of FireFly props.

We talk about our competition 'May the best Flan win!' The prize for this competition is a copy of the FireFly Companion (and I mean the book, not Inara) signed by Karl, and it's one of the first editions of the 2nd print run.

We'd like to take this opportunity to ask all our listeners to add themselves to our frappr map, it'd be nice to know where we've got listeners, you can find the map at www.frappr.com/sendingawave please go add yourselves to it.

Dowload show 8 directly from here or though the podcast feed (see right).

How about "It's A Madhouse, a maaadhouse!"

Another Correction!

Hi guys, we have a website correction for you! Thanks to Adreinne Muller fro Belgium for pointing this out to us. A couple of listings ago we incorrectly said that Kevin Beaumont (who we spoke to in show 7) had a website called cantstoptheserenity.co.uk, well actually it was cantstopthesignal.co.uk. We have corrected this now in the original listing, but thanks for pointing that out!

As I write this it is the 12th (I am still in Australia) and we are hoping to get at least one very unique item for the December show, perhaps two, and of course our November bonus show, the in depth interview with Karl Derrick will be released on the 15th - hopefully overnight, which should be easy as that is the middle of the day over here in Oz!

Anyhow, thanks to all of you for the feedback we are getting, we are thrilled with the responses and the positivity with which you are all responding to the show. We also had some feedback from Patricia Singleton suggesting posting a phone number if we wanted voicemail! Our original plan was to get mp3 voicemails but I appreciate that some people would prefer to be able to call a phone, so as soon as I get back to the UK at the end of this month I will set up a line for you to use.

Anyhow, enjoy the show on the 15th, hope to hear from you soon!
